The Medical Entrance Exams (MEE) - Facts every aspirant should know

Medicine and allied sciences have gained popularity over the years as a career. More and more medical entrance examinations are conducted in India every year. With the implementation of the NMC Act and NEET, many examinations end. Many others are quitting therapy over the course of a few years, with many changes, it is not uncommon for college children to end the state of confusion to know which exams are necessary for their dream college entry. This has inspired us to compile all medical entrance examinations in India for medical candidates.

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) (or NEET (UG)), formerly the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT), is an all India pre-medical entrance test for students who wish to pursue undergraduate medical (MBBS), dental (BDS) and equivalent AYUSH (BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, etc.) courses in government and private institutions in India and also, for those intending to pursue primary medical qualification abroad

Duration:

These engineering examinations usually last for around 3 to 4 hours in which candidates are required to answer 120 to 200 questions.

Syllabus:

The medical examinations consist of questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology. These questions are mostly objective types and carry a fixed weightage of either 3 or 4 marks. The questions are form the 11th and 12th level and are designed to test how well the basic concepts are and terms clear to the students.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences – AIIMS, New Delhi conducts the AIIMS Nursing entrance test for admission to postgraduate M.Sc Nursing course.
