The Punjab Civil Services acronym The PCS Exam is aimed at recruiting prospective candidates who are entrusted with the following responsibilities:

Provincial services and positions connected with the affairs of the province.Positions in or under a corporation or other Government organisations under any law or as otherwise prescribed.
Render advisory services to the Government on matters relating to the terms and conditions of services to the members of the Provincial Services or those that hold key positions relating to the affairs of the Province. PCS EXAM ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Each prospective candidate has to meet the following criteria in order to be eligible for the PCS Examination.

NATIONALITY : The Citizen of India

AGE LIMIT : Candidates should not be below 18 years and above 37 years of age.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION : Candidate should possess a graduate degree in any discipline from an accredited University. However, a candidate can appear for the Preliminary exam in the final year of the course, but he needs to submit the proof of clearing of the final exam in order to be considered for the Mains Examination. Also, the candidate must have passed the Punjabi of Matric as on the last date of his application
